This Privacy Policy explains how LaciStream collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information when you use the LaciStream app, website, beta services, and related features.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

We may collect information you provide when creating or managing an account, including name, username, email address, authentication information, profile photos, biography, preferences, and other profile details.

Age information

We may collect date-of-birth or age-related information to determine eligibility, apply age-appropriate experiences, and prevent access by users below our minimum age. Age information may be stored in protected account records rather than displayed publicly.

Content and communications

We process content you create or share, including posts, comments, photos, videos, stories, reactions, reports, live-stream content, and information associated with messages or calls when those features are used.

Location

If you grant permission, LaciStream may use approximate or precise location for local business discovery, maps, recommendations, and nearby services. You can manage location permission through device settings.

Device, usage, and diagnostics

We may receive device and app information, IP address, session and login information, notification tokens, network information, feature interactions, crash information, and diagnostic or security events.

Camera, microphone, photos, and contacts

With your permission, LaciStream may access your camera, microphone, and photo library for photos, videos, live streaming, audio, messaging, and calling. Contact access, when offered for discovery or invitations, is optional and subject to device permission.

Business, promotions, and advertising

If you use business or promotional features, we may process business profile information, promotions, reviews, products, interactions, and promotional engagement. Where advertising is enabled, permitted information such as general location, age range, interests, activity, and interactions may be used to deliver, limit, or measure advertising and promotions.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve LaciStream.
• Create and secure accounts and authenticate users.
• Operate feeds, stories, messaging, calling, streaming, search, discovery, and business features.
• Apply age eligibility and safety protections.
• Send service notifications and provide support.
• Detect abuse, fraud, spam, security threats, and rule violations.
• Moderate content and investigate reports.
• Measure performance, reliability, usage, and promotional engagement.
• Comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. How Information May Be Shared

Information you choose to make public, such as public profile information, posts, comments, stories, streams, or business information, may be visible to other users. We may share information with service providers that help operate LaciStream, including hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, communications infrastructure, analytics, security, and advertising providers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or enforcement.

4. Third-Party Services

LaciStream uses third-party technology providers for portions of the service, which may include cloud hosting and authentication, media storage, notifications, live communications or streaming infrastructure, analytics, and advertising technology. Their processing may also be subject to their privacy terms and our agreements with them.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may use available in-app account deletion controls to request deletion of your account. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or legitimate operational purposes.

6. Your Privacy Choices

• Manage camera, microphone, photo-library, contacts, and location permissions in iOS Settings.
• Adjust available profile, privacy, notification, and account settings in LaciStream.
• Delete your account using the account deletion option available in the app.
• Contact us with privacy, access, correction, or deletion questions.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

8. Users Ages 13–17

LaciStream may apply additional protections, restrictions, or age-based feature eligibility to teen accounts. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to maintain accounts.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as LaciStream evolves. We will post the updated policy with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
